Working Principle	Two ∑-shaped blades shear. squeeze and knead at different speeds to provide high-intensity mixing.	Two planetary mixing blades rotate around themsolves and orbit around the mixing chamber to improve mixing uniformity.
Shear Force	Extremely high shear force, suitable for ultra-high viscosity materials (>1,000,000cP).	Medium shear force, suitable for high viscosity but still fluid materials (100,000~3,000,000cP).
Mixing Method	High-pressure kneading, shearing, compression, suitable for extremely viscous or solid materials.	Planetary motion + scraping wall stirring, can mix evenly and remove bubbles.
Degassing Ability	Generally requires an external vacuum system, but the degassing effect is average.	Strong vacuum mixing ability, suitable for products that need to be bubble-free.

Equipment Selection Recommendations

If you are producing ultra-high viscosity materials (>1,000,000cP), such as hot melt glue, butyl adhesives, etc. → It is recommended to use sigma mixer, as high shear force can effectively mix high-viscosity materials.
If you are producing high-viscosity but still fluid adhesives (100,000~3,000,000cP), such as PU glue, epoxy adhesives, thermal conductive adhesives, and electronic packaging adhesives → It is recommended to use double planetary mixer, which has higher mixing uniformity and better degassing effect.
If the product has high shear force requirements (such as polymer materials, sealants) → It is recommended to use sigma mixer, whose strong shearing action can make the material disperse more thotoughly.
If the product has high mixing uniformity and degassing requirements (such as electronic grade adhesives, thermal conductive silicone, UV adhesives) → It is recommended to use double planetary mixer, whose multi-dimensional rotation + scraping wall design ensures uniform mixing without bubbles.
